There’s more information HERE about my rosacea and the other ways in which I work around it and care for it. (BTW the writing has already worn off the label, so don’t be confused if the bottle on the shelf looks different to mine!)Īs always, I used a Beauty Blender to apply the foundation: I find that a damp Beauty Blender gives a beautiful finish, applies product quickly, and doesn’t irritate my skin. The ingredients are not listed online (urgh) and so I can advise that there is probably fragrance in all shades of the foundation, but I can’t confirm this… apologies, I tried! The fragrance in this foundation hasn’t had a negative effect on my skin, with no reaction from my rosacea, but I know that a lot of my followers can’t use products that contain fragrance so – if that is you – this may be one for you to avoid. ‘Parfum/fragrance’ is listed on the (tiny and hidden-under-a-sticker) ingredients list on my bottle BUT the L’Oréal Paris social media team told me that ingredients differed by shade, but then wouldn’t tell me if fragrance was a common ingredient across all shades, implying that I should remove and read a label on all 13 shades to find this information. I mentioned in the video that there was a scent to the foundation, so I did some digging. As I mention in the video, the coverage of the L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Foundation isn’t as close to my beloved True Match as I hoped, but I think it fills a different gap in my make up collection. I have quite creasy under-eyes (thanks, genetics!) so finding base products that don’t collect in the fine lines is tricky, but I noticed a big difference with this foundation. I noticed a subtle blurring effect, but more noticeable was the way it sits on my skin. I took this foundation on holiday to Japan with me and it lasted all day (through sightseeing, drinking, and eating allll the sushi!) and looked incredible. The glowy finish you see in the video is beautiful and so flattering, but it doesn’t make the formula greasy or mean that it slips off my oily skin half way through the day. Take a peek at my thoughts on this new release below…Īt 33, I am not really the target market for this foundation but I am still so pleased I tried it. L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Foundation is designed not to settle in fine lines, to keep skin hydrated, looking dewy and glowy, with blurring properties. If you have followed my blog for a while you’ll know that their True Match foundation is one of my go-to, can’t-fail, recommend-to-everyone foundations. ![]() Today’s instalment of my Rosacea Review series is the new L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Foundation.
